The arresting aspect of this work is a set of one-of-a-kind lamps representing the discordant, rough, chaotic ideas brought to the studio in search of a lucid and easily understood whole.  This design takes the mundane and ordinary and leaves something beautiful.  Soaring above the polished concrete floors of the reception area appears to be a set of bright cones tightly stuffed into a bag.  Collaboration with a neighboring steel fabricator in Contrivium’s Hot Shops home offer ¼-inch steel rods composing a framework surrounded by everyday shrink wrap.  A few steps beyond from the ceiling descends a perfect, clean-line cone, the idea of journey from chaos to order complete.
